形態特徵

• Perennial herbs; stems prostrate or ascending, subterete, densely hirsute at first, glabrescent.
• Leaves chartaceous, slightly hirsute, asymmetrically obovate, ovate to lanceolate, 1-5.5 cm long, 0.5-2 cm wide, basiscopic half rounded to semi-cordate, margins sharply serrate, apex acute to acuminate; nanophylls ovate to obovate, less than 0.4 cm long, deciduous, ciliate, glabrous above, slightly hirsute beneath; stipules 2, 1-nerved, glabrous to glabrescent, obliquely lanceolate, 3.0-4.0 mm long, margins ciliolate.
• Male inflorescences sessile to short pedunculate, hirsute outside, ellipsoid; peduncles hirsute, to 5 mm long. Female inflorescences sessile or subsessile, ellipsoid, hirsute outside. Sepals of male flowers 5, hirtellous outside, obovoid, ca. 2 mm long, 2.5 mm wide. Sepals of female flowers 4; staminodes 4, minute; ovary ovoid.
• Achenes ovoid.

分布

• 台灣 : medium altitude throughout the island, mostly growing on moist floors near ravines.
• 世界 : Nepal, northern India, Java?, and S. mainland China.
